text
The EELA Forum at the 2021 Africa Energy Indaba updated stakeholders on project progress, promoted energy efficiency, and expanded networks for visibility.
02 March 2021

The EELA Project hosted its first Energy Efficiency Forum for Stakeholders on 2 March 2021, as part of the 2021 Africa Energy Indaba.

The objective of the EELA Forum was to update its stakeholders on the progress of the project and to provide a platform for them to network, debate and exchange information on recommendations for the successful implementation of the project. Participation in the AEI also provided opportunities for the following:

  • Creating awareness on energy efficiency for socio-economic transformation.
  • Showcasing opportunities for the private sector in the diffusion of energy efficient appliances.
  • Enlarging the EELA Project’s networks with the Africa Energy Indaba participants and create visibility of the Project.
