Mervyn Mumba is an engineer by profession, and certified energy auditor with expertise in energy management, policy development, and industrial energy efficiency. With experience in Zambia’s Ministry of Energy, he has served in various portfolios at senior management level, and contributed to the country’s energy sector development.

Currently, Mervyn Mumba is engaged by UNIDO as an Energy Policy Expert under the EELA project, Zambia country window, leveraging his skills to promote energy efficiency in industries.

Mervyn Mumba holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical engineering from the Copperbelt University, with more than 15 years work experience in energy policy development and implementation as well as industrial energy efficiency in Zambia.
