The EELA program will participate in an expert and partner meeting in Stockholm from March 10 to 14. The event, which includes a study tour to leading Swedish cleantech and energy efficiency players in the private sector, aims to align program goals and foster cooperation among stakeholders.
Objectives of the Partner Meeting
- Launch of the EELA Program introducing partners, clarifying roles and responsibilities, and aligning priorities for effective implementation. Facilitate an exchange among diverse partners to foster collaboration and shared understanding of program goals.
- Discuss key program topics, including Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), labeling, Market Verification and Enforcement (MVE), and explore the implications of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement for energy efficiency initiatives.
- Strengthen private sector engagement by promoting the Industry Clean Tech Platform (ICTP) as a one-stop shop for industrial enterprises, fostering partnerships with national and international technology providers, encouraging ESCOs, and scaling energy efficiency innovations and investments.
The study tour is organized in a collaborative effort between UNIDO, The Swedish Energy Agency (SEA), Business Sweden (BuS), GloFin Advisory AB and Borg&Co.
