This event introduces and celebrates the new “Energy Efficiency for Sustainable Livelihoods in Africa – EELA” Program and its opportunities for partnerships. The EELA Program builds on the successful regional EELA Project which has been implemented since 2019 and has now been scaled up to a program. It includes regional interventions in the East African Community (EAC), the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region as well as special EELA Country Windows for Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The EELA Program is open for partnerships and new donors to join and scale up the services to other sectors, countries and regions.
